October 21, 2002 - Conical knurling dies are manufactured with taper angles of 15° and 30°. All dies have 1 in. diameter, measure 3/8 in. wide, and have 1/4 in. holes. Available in fine, medium, and coarse pitches, dies are made from M1 tool steel, heat-treated to 61/63 HRc, and can be TiN coated. Dies fit companyā€™s adjustable conical holders for impressions on most taper knurl jobs.
