Powered by 2.30 GHz Intel® Pentium® Core(TM) 2 Duo T4500 CPU, system is constructed of 316 stainless steel and comes with intrinsically safe keyboard and 19 in. SXGA color LCD. In addition to facilitating setup and operation, screen displays information such as flow, pressure, and system status.

VarTech Systems Inc. Releases its Latest Generation Class 1 Division 1 NEMA 4X (IP66) Fully Enclosed Hazardous Area Workstation.


This 19" LCD computer workstation is integrated with a Type X purge and pressurization protection system and is suitable for many classified areas such as Class 1 Div 1 Groups B,C, D and Class 2 Div 1 groups E, F and G. Powered by Intel's Pentium Core 2 Duo T4500 2.30 GHz processor and equipped with an intrinsically safe keyboard and a 19" SXGA resolution vivid color LCD, this workstation is constructed of 316 type stainless steel and designed to protect against many corrosive environments.

The purge system's 2-line 20-character LCD programming screen allows easy setup and operation and lets the user program the system according to the requirements of the application. The screen also displays information such as flow, pressure, and system status. The pressure and flow feedback is provided to the control unit by the vent. The Type X/ Ex px integrated purge system itself conforms to ATEX, NFPA 496 and ISA 12.4, DEMKO, UL cULus, IEC 61508, SIL 2 and is suitable for Suitable for Class I and II, Division 1/ Zone 1 and Zone 21 to non-hazardous area applications.
