Flexcon Introduces New Flow-Thru Composite Tanks

Randolph, MA (August 11, 2008) -- Flexcon Industries, the leader in innovative well tank technology, has introduced composite Flow-Thru tanks for constant pressure water systems. The Flexcon Flow-Thru tanks incorporate a patented watervane which circulates water in the tank, preventing the possibility of stagnant water. Flexcon's new Flow-Thru composite tanks are available in a variety of sizes through the Company's professional wholesale distribution network. The new composite tanks are made of a co-polymer polypropylene which is wrapped with a continuous fiberglass fiber immersed in epoxy. These tanks are corrosion resistant, lightweight and they include Flexcon's patented CAD2 diaphragm.

Flexcon's first Flow-Thru tanks, introduced in 2004, were 4.5 gallon stainless steel tanks used primarily with constant pressure water systems. Since then, Flexcon has developed larger Flow-Thru steel tanks, up to an 86 gallon and now composite tanks up to a 50 gallon. The advantage of larger Flow-Thru tanks when used with constant pressure water systems is they enable homeowners to enjoy a large reservoir of water in the event of a power outage without the possibility of stagnant water. Flexcon offers Flow-Thru tanks in many sizes including 2 and 4.5 gallon stainless steel, steel tanks in 14, 20, 44, 86 gallon, and composite in 15, 22, 38, and 50 gallon.

Flexcon Industries is a leading manufacturer of diaphragm expansion tanks for water well systems and hydronic heating and thermal expansion tanks. The Company has manufacturing facilities in Randolph, Massachusetts and Taichung, Taiwan and it markets its products in 68 countries. Flexcon Industries, a division of the Swan Group, is a privately held company, based in Randolph, Massachusetts. For more information, please visit www.flexconind.com.
