November 8, 2007 - Utilizing double inverted magnetron sensor technology, Self-Start 7FCS Cleanable UHV Cold Cathode Gauge offers vacuum measurement range of 1 x 10-2 to 1 x 10-11 Torr. Thermonic emitter can be ignited when vacuum system is pumped below 10-7 Torr or power outage occurs and creates environment needed for plasma discharge to take place, enabling gauge to restart. Model MC300 and multichannel MM200 vacuum measurement instruments allow operation of gauge.

New Cleanable UHV Cold Cathode Gauge Available with Self-Start Feature

Televac/ETI, a leading ISO9001:2000 registered manufacturer of UHV measurement sensors and vacuum instrumentation, has announced availability of their new Self-Start 7FCS Cleanable UHV Cold Cathode Gauge.

Based on the design of Televac's highly popular 7FC Cleanable UHV Cold Cathode Gauge, the new 7FCS utilizes double inverted magnetron sensor technology to create a rugged and robust vacuum sensor with a wide vacuum measurement range of 1 x 10-2 to 1 x 10-11 torr. Addition of a thermonic emitter, which can be ignited when the vacuum system is pumped below 10-7 torr and a power outage occurs, creates the necessary environment needed for plasma discharge to take place resulting in the immediate restart of the gauge.

Televac's cost effective, state-of-the-art MC300 vacuum measurement instrument and the multi-channel modular design MM200 vacuum measurement instrument both allow operation of the 7FCS providing exact measurement and control for any application.
