Constant Temperature Kinematic Viscosity Bath

Niles, IL - A high-quality circulating bath designed specifically for kinematic viscosity testing is now available from PolyScience. Featuring a maximum temperature of 150°C and temperature stability of ±0.05°C, the PolyScience Kinematic Viscosity Bath conforms to ASTM D-445 and related viscosity testing specifications. The bath comes equipped with a Teflon® top plate that holds up to six 2-inch (5 cm) diameter glass capillary viscometers. A cylindrical 17 or 27 liter glass jar is available as an option.

The PolyScience Kinematic Viscosity Bath features a microprocessor-based PID controller with three temperature present buttons for the easy recall of frequently used testing temperatures. Bath temperature is displayed in °C or °F on a bright LED readout; set point temperature may be recalled with just the simple touch of the controller's set/select knob. To optimize temperature uniformity while minimizing bath turbulence, the controller also incorporates a two-speed circulation pump that provides pumping flows of 9 or 15 liters/minute. It is available for either 120V, 50/60 Hz or 240V, 50/60 Hz operation.

The bath's optional cylindrical jars measure 12 inches (30.48 cm) in diameter. The 17 liter reservoir is 12 inches (30.48 cm) deep; the 27 liter model is 18 inches (45.72 cm) deep.
