Eaton Corporation Announces New Cutler-Hammer Line of Medium Voltage VCP-WG Generator Vacuum Circuit Breakers
PITTSBURGH, PA. Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation launches its newest line of Medium Voltage VCP-WG Generator Vacuum Circuit Breakers, capable of handling high continuous current levels, unique fault conditions, and various voltage conditions. The Medium Voltage Generator Vacuum Circuit Breaker line is a major advancement in the utility and industrial marketplaces for Eaton's Cutler-Hammer electrical
power distribution and control business.
Cutler-Hammer VCP-WG Generator Circuit Breakers are designed to interrupt fault current levels with very fast rates of rise recovery (RRRV) and have a distinct ability to perform
under out-of-phase conditions when the generator and power system voltages are not in sync. It is designed to reliably operate up to 3000A with natural air convection cooling and
up to 4500A with suitable enclosure fan cooling during overload conditions.
