January 20, 2014 - As plug-in that runs completely inside of CAD program Geomagic Design (2013–2014), VisualCAM 2014 for Geomagic® includes 2 CAM modules, MILL and TURN, each of which can be acquired and licensed independently. Machining and 3D designing capabilities are complemented by included 2 ˝-, 3-, and 4-axis milling and turning operations. Solution also comes with hundreds of post-processors as well as post-processor generator to create user definable post-processors.

MecSoft Releases VisualCAM 2014 for Geomagic®


Irvine, CA: MecSoft Corporation, the developer of industry leading CNC software solutions, has announced the availability of VisualCAM 2014 for Geomagic, a major version release for MecSoft’s integrated CAM solution for 3D Systems’ CAD software, Geomagic Design.

VisualCAM 2014 for Geomagic includes two CAM modules, MILL and TURN, each of which run integrated inside the Geomagic CAD program and can be bought and licensed independent of each other. The TURN module is a new module that is being introduced with the 2014 release. The MILL module was significantly enhanced and improved in this 2014 release to provide customers with a powerful and complete manufacturing platform.
