Chromalox Expands Horizontal and Vertical Discharge Blower Heater Offering with 20 kW to 50 kW Options
PITTSBURGH - - Chromalox®, a leading manufacturer of electric heat and control products, today announced an expansion to its existing comfort heating product line. Chromalox's model HVH blower heater line, which provides a wide range of solutions for a greater variety of heating applications, now offers horizontal or vertical discharge blower heaters at 20 kW and 50 kW.
The HVH is designed to provide vertical or horizontal airflow through versatile mounting configurations for either wall or ceiling. Its compact size allows for placement in tight spaces. Additionally, the HVH has an attractive appearance, is easy to install, requires minimum maintenance and has a long life. Chromalox HVH heaters are CSA certified for use in the United States and Canada, as well as CE certified to meet European standards.
The Chromalox model HVH blower heaters feature epoxy-sealed elements to reduce false trips on ground-fault equipment. To ensure easy service, the heaters are designed for easy access to internal components through a large door at the bottom and a removable case front. Optional controls on the front panel offer easy adjustments, monitoring and operation of the heater. Other features include a pilot light that indicates normal operation of the heater; an outlet screen to prevent objects from coming in contract with the fan; and factory- or field-installed thermostats, fan controls and disconnect kits.
The HVH can be used in a range of applications, including shipping and receiving areas; pump houses; power generating stations, aircraft hangers; factories and warehouses; garages; and many others.
