Quick lock cam-action bezel ring with heavy duty, heat resistant hermetically sealed gasket seals out moisture to prevent lens icing or fogging.  Pointer is adjustable for recalibration using an external reset nut and is standard with all models.  Choose from easy reading 5” (127 mm) or space-saving 3” (76 mm) dials with anti-parallax dial design and linear scale with black graduations and numerals on a low-glare white background, featuring a high visibility tapered-tip black pointer for ease of reading.  Available in stem lengths up to 60” (152 cm), the single helix bimetallic coil sensing element is located in the bottom 2.5” of the thermometer stem and is a high-torque, low mass design with silicon on coil for superior heat transfer characteristics, fast response, and consistent repeatability.  Design meets the American Society of Mechanical Engineers B-40.3 standard.
