Features include pivoting hopper, drop-down removable screen cradle, HCHC knives, oversized solid flywheel, and machined and bolted cutting chamber. Scissor cutting action is achieved with three-knife, open rotor with scooped wings and slant-cut knives combined with counter-slanted stationary knives.

New Berlin, WI- Cumberland Engineering is pleased to showcase its versatile, sound attenuated 1000 Series beside-the-press granulator at K-Show 2010. On display will be the 1018x Series with optional feed roll and will be located at stand D23 in hall 9.
All 1000 Series models provide excellent quality regrind with reduced maintenance costs. The standard design includes integrated rotating end discs for low-heat granulation and reduced frictional wear. Cumberland offers a wide choice of evacuation systems to meet every production requirement. The 1000 Series granulator unique, machined, bolted and doweled construction ensures strength and durability. Integrated rotating end discs provide for low-heat granulation for heat-sensitive materials. Double-sealed bearings are lubricated for life.
The 1000 Series can be used with robot feed, conveyor feed or hand feed applications. Other distinguishing features include:
