Providing over 5,000 fpm of belt speed, Belt Sander/Grinder 602E-MT has front contact wheel that can be used to grind, sand, shape, and polish flat and curved surfaces with smooth, fast cutting and less heat. Unit's 2 x 36 in. belt can be swiveled vertically or into any other position, while it's miter table tilts from 5-50° downward. Unit is supplied with 100 grit sand belt, 6 in. 0.014 ga wire wheel, and OSHA compliant guarding.

Baldor Announces Belt Sander/Grinder

Baldor Electric Company, Fort Smith, Arkansas based manufacturer of energy saving industrial electric motors, drives, mechanical power transmission products and generators, announces a new Belt Sander/Grinder 602E-MT.
The 115-volt, 1/3 horsepower Baldorm Reliance motor provides 3600 rpm's of motor speed, equating to over 5,000 fpm of belt speed. The front contact wheel can be used to grind, sand, shape and polish flat and curved surfaces with smoother, faster cutting and less heat.
The versatile 602E belt sander/grinder removes material up to five times faster than with the equivalent grit-grinding wheel. Its 2" x 36" belt can be swiveled vertically or into any other position. The miter table tilts from 5°- 50° downward and its miter bracket also swivels, making it easy for squaring or adjusting an angle. The new belt sander/grinder is supplied with a 100 grit sand belt, a 6" 0.014 gauge wire wheel and an OSHA compliant guarding.
