Side mount with undercut version, also available, is useful for limited spaces while providing installation height with built-in shoulders. Deep Groove Ball Bearings are offered in 3 different designs in variety of sizes. All are precision constructed of 440C stainless steel and rated Accuracy Grade JIS B 1514 Class 0.

Misumi Builds on Bearings Line with Space-Saving Side Mount Bearings and Deep Groove Ball Bearings


The new products are available in a variety of styles, sizes and materials to fill the diverse requirements of a multitude of industrial automation applications.

(Schaumburg, IL) ¯ MISUMI USA, Inc., a subsidiary of MISUMI Corporation, part of MISUMI Group, Inc. (Tokyo: 9962), has added several new bearings to the company's already extensive line. The new products include Side Mount Bearings and Deep Groove Ball Bearings. MISUMI's fixed and configurable bearings are rugged and reliable; making them a popular choice for the manufacture and assembly of a wide range of industrial machinery, motion control and factory automation systems.

The three new types of MISUMI Bearings include:

Bearings with Housing, Side Mount, Retained, are designed for use in limited installation space. Available styles are:
  • BGSMAB - Steel bearings, 1045 Carbon Steel housing with a black oxide finish and spring steel accessory retaining ring.
  • BGSMA -- Steel bearings,1045 Carbon Steel housing with nickel plated finish and 304 Stainless Steel accessory retaining ring.
  • SBGSMA - Stainless Steel bearings with 304 Stainless Steel housing and accessory retaining ring.

    Bearings with Housing, Side Mount with Undercut, Retained, are also useful for limited spaces, while providing installation height with built-in shoulders. Available styles are:
  • BGSNAB - Steel bearings, 1045 Carbon Steel housing with black oxide finish and spring steel accessory bearing.
  • BGSNA - Steel bearings, 1045 Carbon Steel housing with nickel plated finish and 304 Stainless Steel accessory bearing.
  • SBGSNA - Stainless Steel bearings, 304 Stainless Steel housing and accessory bearing.

    Both new lines are available in a range of sizes and all ship in six (6) days. Seal options include: Double-Shielded, Non-contact Rubber, and Contact Rubber. Bearings and Retaining Rings are shipped unassembled in the housing.

    Deep Groove Ball Bearings in three different designs (SZV, SZU and SZG) are available in a variety of sizes. All are precision constructed of 440C Stainless Steel, and are rated Accuracy Grade JIS B 1514 Class 0. Shipping time is three (3) days.
