Designed for CNC lathes, RHINOBAR is available with tube sizes from ¼-2¾ in. in 1/8 in. increments, accommodating bar stock diameters from 1/8-2¾ in. and up to 12 ft long. Pedestals and barrel clamps prevent whip or spin of bar. Oil fills gap between bar stock and feed tube, acting as noise damping support. Ergonomically placed controls and safety interlock switch facilitate operation, while end-of-bar signal and auto pusher retraction allow system to operate unattended.

Lexair Rhinobar® Bar Feeder is Ideal for Dedicated Production Jobs
LEXINGTON, KY (December 20, 2005) - The Lexair, Inc. RHINOBAR® bar feeder is designed for use with all types of CNC lathes and is ideal for dedicated production jobs. The RHINOBAR has all of the classic features of the popular Mini RHINOBAR - on a larger scale - plus pedestals and barrel clamps.
The RHINOBAR's pedestals and barrel clamps prevent any whip or spin of the bar. The pedestals and barrel clamps also make the RHINOBAR easy to use for the worker. In addition to being more secure, the two features make installation of the RHINOBAR easier and faster.
The RHINOBAR, priced significantly lower than competitive systems, can be customized to handle virtually any size or shape bar stock by changing the feed tube size. It is available with tube sizes ranging from 1/4" to 2 3/4" in 1/8" increments, accommodating bar stock diameters from 1/8" to 2 3/4", and up to 12' long. The customer's choice of four feed tube sizes is included as standard equipment. Customized tube sizes are also available.
The RHINOBAR's design helps reduce shop noise levels while improving bar stock stability. Oil fills the gap between the bar stock and feed tube, acting as a noise damping support. As the bar begins to turn, hydrodynamic forces move it toward the center of the feed tube. Centering forces are increased as bar speed increases. Oil flow and pressure are controlled with a single Lexair valve.
The bar feeder's front swing-out mechanism includes a large barrel clamp to help reduce bar vibration. Ergonomically placed controls and a safety interlock switch facilitate system operation. An end-of-bar signal and auto pusher retraction allows the RHINOBAR system to operate unattended.
