July 29, 2010 - Manufactured using additives that are FDA approved, Gaia(TM) AB 505 has been tested sccording to the AATCC Test Method 147-2004 standards and has successfully stopped growth of E-coli and staphylococcus. Properties allow material to be manufactured at high temperatures with decomposition range between 450-460°F. Gaia(TM) AB 505 is available in PE, PP, PS and PET carrier.

New Antimicrobial Additive


HOUSTON, TEXAS - Phoenix Plastics(TM) L.P., a manufacturer of engineered additives is announcing that they have released a new Antimicrobial additive, Gaia(TM) AB 505. Gaia(TM) AB 505 is manufactured using additives that are FDA approved.

Gaia(TM) AB 505 has been tested and has successfully stopped the growth of E-coli and Staphylococcus. Testing was done sccording to the AATCC Test Method 147-2004 standards. Gaia(TM) AB 505 unique properties allow the material to be manufactured at higher temperatures with a decomposition range between 450° F and 460° F. Gaia(TM) AB 505 is available in a PE, PP, PS and PET carrier. Phoenix Plastics(TM) additives are used across all avenues in the Plastic Industry.
