Unit includes level indicator, RS232 port, and ability to lock menus. Offered in 65-4,100 g capacities, balance provides 1.0 mg repeatability and has environmental settings to compensate for vibrations and other disturbances. For applications requiring 0.1 mg readability, unit includes draftshield with removable doors.

Analytical Balance Adapts to Real-Life Conditions
An analytical balance that is easy to operate and well suited for a variety of laboratory, industrial, and educational weighing applications is being introduced by Alliance Scale, Inc. of Canton, Massachusetts.
The Alliance/OHAUS® Pioneer Series Analytical(TM) Balance provides 1.0 mg repeatability and has selectable environmental settings to compensate for vibrations and other disturbances and adjust for slow filling applications. For high sensitivity applications requiring 0.1 mg readability, it has a new draftshield with removable doors and panels for easy cleaning.
Featuring simple, menu-driven operation, the Alliance/OHAUS® Pioneer Series Analytical(TM) Balance performs basic and dynamic (animal) weighing, parts counting, percent weighing, and includes 15 international weighing units. Standard features include a level indicator, an RS232 port, and a combina-tion software and mechanical switch that locks menus including calibration.
