Narrow Transducer Provides an Easy-To-Configure and Easy-To-Install Alternative for Frequency Signals

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – Phoenix Contact’s MINI Analog family now includes a transducer designed for frequency voltage signals. Common types of inputs include dry relay contacts, NAMUR sensors, NPN and PNP signals. The transducer converts the measured signals into a linear current or voltage signal. The reduced support requirement makes the MINI Analog transducer an easy-to-configure and easy-to-install alternative to the universal frequency input MCR-F-UI device.

The MINI Analog family has a 6.2-mm-thin housing and T-bus power bus capabilities that save space and drastically reduce installation time. The hot-swappable signal conditioning slices clip onto the powering T-bus connector without removing bus bars or bridging. Optional quick cabling solutions are also available to interface the MINI Analog modules to controllers, greatly reducing installation time.

The MINI Analog transducer features an easy dip-switch programmable setup and a wide power circuit range of 9.6 to 30 V DC. In addition, a low transmission error of 0.1 percent means high-level accuracy for the customer.
