April 6, 2006 - Suited for use in harsh environments, 5000 Series monitors from PLC or transducer and requires no power. Gasket sealing design allows for quick modification and scale changes while maintaining instrument integrity. Made with UL 94V material, series is available in custom scales and features dustproof Lexan® construction. Accuracy on all dc and ac versions is ±2% of FS. All meters are 2,600 V RMS with 90° rotation and meet ANSI Specifications C39.1.

Hoyt Announces the 5000 Series


PENACOOK, NH - January 6, 2006 - Hoyt Electrical Instrument Works, Inc.. announces the 5000 Series meters. If you are looking for something cost effective that can be used for most applications, then analog is the best choice. These meters require no power, are available in custom scales and will monitor from PLC or Transducer.

This series offers many advantages including Gasket Sealing Design and Dustproof Lexan ® Construction. With this dust resistant construction as a standard feature, the 5000 Series is ideal in harsh environments where impact and strength is required. This unique sealing design provides exceptional gasket sealing while allowing for quick modification and scale changes while maintaining the integrity of the instrument. An external panel gasket is available. The 5000 Series is made with UL 94V material.

The mounting studs on the 5000 Series can be ordered to fit your existing panel opening at now extra cost. The 5000 series cases are interchangeable with a wide variety of competitive instruments. The built-in interchangeability eliminates the need for drawing changes, setups, and re-drilling of panels and is solves your instrument replacement problems.

The 5000 Series is available in DC: Micro ammeters, Milliammeters, Ammeters, Mill voltmeters, Voltmeters, Pyrometers, and Hour meters. It is available in AC: Frequency Meters (pointer type), Iron Vane or Rectifier type, Voltmeters, Ammeters, and Hour meters. Accuracy on all DC and AC is ± 2% of full scale. All meters are 2600 V RMS with a 90 degree rotation and meet ANSI Specifications C39.1.
