Geared up for the future – the new generation of LTG Fahrtwind-Simulators*

Adapted to the WLTP cycle for simulating up to 135 km/h

For more than 15 years now, LTG has been equipping the automotive industry all over the world with its Fahrtwind-Simulators*. These proven units with tangential fan technology are characterized by even airflow and space-saving design. They help to obtain reproducible, comparable, and realistic measuring results, and are an indispensable part of any effective dynamometer in today’s world.

The successful series has now been expanded with a new model and adapted to the latest regulations and international guidelines.
The requirements of the new WLTP cycle (Worldwide Harmonized Light Duty Test Procedure), destined for worldwide application, are already met by this unit today.

Efficiency has been considerably increased while retaining the same connected power. Simulations of airflows up to 135 km/h are possible. However, the outlet velocity is evenly distributed over the entire outlet area and affords maximum precision.

Proven features such as electric height adjustment and mobility were of course retained. They contribute to rapid modification and ideal adaptation to varying vehicle models. Furthermore, these units are equipped with the latest software, programmable touch panel and external set point signal.

Thanks to their compactness and ease of handling, these mobile units can be used in many different locations without any problem. The latest ergonomic research findings have been taken into account for the operation.

In addition to the universally usable new model, special customized versions are available for many applications and for wider simulation ranges.
