SpacePak Introduces New E-Series Air Handler

- E-Series Fan Coil Unit Makes Installation and Service Easier, Operation More Efficient -

WESTFIELD, Mass., April 2, 2007 -- SpacePak, the originator and leading producer of high-velocity home comfort systems, has introduced the new E-Series enhanced model air handler for use with the SpacePak air distribution system.

"The E-Series represents the next generation of horizontal, DX fan coil units," said Janine Boland, SpacePak product manager. "Its innovative design elevates the entire SpacePak system. We are very excited to offer this enhanced model to SpacePak contactors and distributors."

A number of improvements have been made to the E-Series unit for improved handling and installation, including the addition of a new leak- and rust-proof polyethylene drain pan, a simplified internal electric cabinet with expanded terminal blocks, as well as the addition of a removable return air panel. The refrigerant connections have been relocated to the supply air end of the unit for improved accessibility, and a Schrader valve has been added.

The E-Series air handler can easily be used in conjunction with ElectriPak, SpacePak's electric heat module, or WaterPak, SpacePak's hydronic heating coil.

E-Series air handlers are immediately available to contractors and distributors who carry the SpacePak line of high velocity air conditioners. For additional information or product literature, contact a SpacePak representative in your area by calling 1 (800) 465.8558, or visit www.spacepak.com.
