February 20, 2009 - Made of double-ply silicone coated fiberglass fabric, Flexaust® Heat-Flex(TM) GS has reinforced spring steel wire helix and external filament fiberglass cord. It offers narrow pitch and tight bending radius, operates from -65°F, and is resistant to many oils, solvents, ozone, water, fungus, and alkalis. Available standard in ¾-12 in. ID sizes and standard 12 ft lengths with plain ends and iron oxide red color, hose is also offered in custom configurations.

High Temperature Hose Handles Hot Air up to 600°F


A line of silicone coated fiberglass fabric hose for a wide range of high temperature applications such as plastics processing, exhaust evacuation, drying, and brake ducting has been introduced by Flexaust of Warsaw, IN.

Flexaust® Heat-Flex(TM) GS is a double-ply silicone coated fiberglass fabric hose that is reinforced with a spring steel wire helix and external filament fiberglass cord. Designed for high temperature air handling, this durable hose has a narrow pitch, combining a tight bending radius with a smooth air flow, and is rated for 550°F continuous and 600°F intermittent applications.

Operating from -65°F, Flexaust® Heat-Flex(TM) GS is resistant to many oils, solvents, ozone, water, fungus, and alkalis. Available in 3/4" to 12" I.D. sizes and standard 12 ft. lengths with plain ends, the standard color for this hose is iron oxide red. Custom configurations with additional plies, different colors, special lengths, and cuffed ends are optional.

Flexaust® Heat-Flex(TM) GS High Temperature Hose is priced from $ 4.50 per ft., depending upon size and quantity. Samples and price quotations are available upon request.
