Daikin Europe N.V. Announces an Extension to Its Sky Air Series

Daikin Europe N.V. announces an extension to its Sky Air series (20 & 25 kW): the new CMSQ. The new addition is designed for light commercial multi applications such as shops, small offices and restaurants; the R-410A system is inverter-controlled for maximum comfort and top efficiency, COP up to 4.1 in heating mode. It also allows individual control of up to four indoor air conditioning units of varying types and sizes, supports flexible outdoor unit placement including doors, roofs and walls because of its extended piping lengths.

Daikin Europe also introduces Individually controlled indoor units. Two types of indoor units are offered: a Roundflow cassette (FMCQ) and a concealed ceiling unit (FMDQ), both in a range of capacities from 5 to 12.5 kW in cooling mode. Up to four indoor units can be installed, in any combination of capacity and indoor type, with each unit individually controllable via its own infrared or hard-wired remote control.

And the efficient outdoor unit can be mounted on your roof, wall or even inside your home. The CMSQ outdoor air conditioning unit is equipped with an inverter-controlled scroll compressor driven by a high efficiency motor and the inverter control ensures constant room temperatures.

It also has a piping length (from outdoor unit to all indoor units) of 200 metres to allow the outdoor air conditioning unit to be mounted against a wall or on a roof. CMSQ also uses Daikin's REFNET piping system for optimum refrigerant flow. Moreover, CMSQ has been designed to be extremely quiet, with sound levels as low as 57 dBA in normal operation or down to 45 dBA in night mode for the outdoor unit.
