MAXPRO Technologies Introduces An Air Amplifier System

Fairview, PA - May 29, 2008 - MAXPRO Technologies introduces an air amplifier system ideal for applications in chemical, manufacturing and injection molding plants.

The customer requirement was for amplified air to be supplied at 100 psi, 1.5 scfm CONTINUOUSLY to 12 machines on a 24/7 operation. A dual amplifier system with an air receiver tank was recommended. In order to extend the life of the amplifiers, a timer device was designed for the purpose of operating each amplifier for a short time, then automatically switching to the second amplifier. The recommended time interval is 20 to 30 minutes.

Main components of the system are (2) GPLV2 air amplifiers, a 30 gallon vertical receiver tank, a control box equipped with a timer device, an on/off switch, power cord and fuse. A solenoid is installed in the pilot line of each amplifier. The timer sends a signal to close one solenoid, and open the other, thus stopping and staring the amplifiers on a pre-determined timed cycle. Required power for the control box is 120 VAC. Approximate physical size of the unit is 53" tall x 36" wide x 24" deep.
