Male center pins are gold-plated brass and female centers are gold-plated, heat-treated beryllium copper. All insulation material is high-density PTFE. Adapters allow direct adaptation without intermediate couplers, minimizing signal loss and reflection.

New Multi-RF Direct Adapter Kit from Pomona Electronics Delivers the Most Frequently Used 50 Ohm Adapters in a Rugged Case


EVERETT, Wash., Dec. 13, 2006 - Pomona Electronics, the leading manufacturer of cable assemblies, connectors, and test accessories, announces its new Multi-RF Direct Adapter Kit, a comprehensive kit of the most frequently used 50W adapters housed in a rugged pistol-grip case. The adapters allow direct adaptation without intermediate couplers, reducing signal loss and reflection from the adapter.

The kit contains six BNC, two TNC, 16 SMA, and two Type N adapters. All 26 adapters are precision-machined brass (not die-cast) with tarnish-resistant nickel plating. Male center pins are gold-plated brass and female centers are gold-plated, heat-treated beryllium copper for superior connectivity. All insulation material is high-density PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), also known as Teflon®.
