Software Applications automate business process management.


August 25, 2008 - Office Business Applications (OBAs) are pre-configured applications that offer companies ability to invest in one solutions platform and then configure multiple applications using same technology. They leverage Microsoft Information Worker productivity tools - Word, Excel, and Visio - and also integrate with SharePoint to provide workflow-based Business Process Management. OBAs cover management of SharePoint governance, GRC, store tasks, employee onboarding, and client intake.

Bluespring Software Announces Office Business Applications (OBAs) for Business Process Management


CINCINNATI, Aug. 14 -- Bluespring Software, a leading Business Process Management innovator that brings process agility to the enterprise, announced it has developed Office Business Applications, providing a fast-deploy, easy-to-manage, highly cost effective means of automating key business functions.

Office Business Applications (OBAs) are pre-configured, out of the box applications that leverage Microsoft Information Worker productivity tools such as Word, Excel, Visio and SharePoint. OBAs offer companies many advantages over point solutions including the ability to invest in a single solutions platform and then configure multiple applications using the same technology; effectively lowering not only the acquisition cost of software but both internal and external ongoing maintenance and support. Because OBAs use common user interfaces such as Word, Outlook, Excel and SharePoint, there is virtually no technology learning curve for users. This translates into rapid deployment and minimal IT support. OBAs are designed as configurable solutions, which means that virtually all changes to the system can be made without writing a line of code.

OBAs also leverage Service Oriented Architecture technology to rapidly "stitch" together enterprise solutions based on pre-built components instead of coding them from scratch, dramatically reducing development time and cost.

In addition to Microsoft Office and InfoPath, Bluespring OBAs fully integrate with SharePoint to provide effective workflow-based Business Process Management.
