June 6, 2008 - Employing minimal parts to promote extended MTBF, DIU series is built with ductile iron housings, steel shaft and pinion gears, and iron rotor with multiple bearing materials. Shaft sealing includes packing seals, lips seals, and multiple mechanical seal types, with elastomers to suit. Along with built-in shaft seal flexibility, pumps feature direct drive speeds to 1,800 rpm and close coupled design that eliminates misalignment and related failures.
