ROSTOV-ON-DON, Russia - Jan. 17, 2008 - Fast Reports Inc. today announces the immediate availability of FastReport VCL 4.5 for Delphi/C++Builder, a major new release of the report generator that was honored with the Product of the Year for Borland Delphi Award from Delphi Magazine (http://www.delphizine.com). FastReport VCL 4.5 for Delphi/C++Builder continues the tradition of reporting excellence and innovation, delivering a comprehensive set of new features for report designers and application developers. Among them there are new converters for obtaining reports from competing report generators - ConverterRB2FR.pas for converting reports from Report Builder, ConverterQR2FR.pas for converting reports from QuickReport. FastReport VCL is an add-on component that enables your application to generate reports quickly and efficiently. FastReport provides all the necessary tools to develop reports, including a visual report designer, a reporting core, and a preview window. The product can be used in the Borland Delphi 4-2006 and Borland C++Builder 4-2006 environments. There is a wide range of objects used in a report (text, image, chart, barcode, etc.) and data-formatting tools - everything necessary to create professional-looking reports. It adds fewer Kb to your application than any other reporting tool with comparable features. No additional DLLs are required.
