AVerMedia Launches New 16-Channel Analog & IP Camera Capable Windows-Based Surveillance DVR / NVR Solution
MILPITAS, Calif., June 1 -- AVerMedia(R) Technologies, Inc., the leading provider of digital multimedia and presentation technology announced today the release of the new AVerDVR NV6000 Hybrid Surveillance DVR & NVR combined solution. The NV6000 is a 480 fps, single card solution capable of running up to 16 channels with the ability to connect either analog or IP cameras. Equipped with the new AVerDVR Hybrid Application Software, the NV6000 effectively expands the DVR capabilities to a Network Video Recorder (NVR) solution as well.
The AVerDVR NV6000 Series features remote surveillance monitoring, recording and playback retrievable through LAN or Internet with easy step-by-step search and playback by date, hour, minute. Remote monitoring through a PDA/Mobile Handy view and POS system integration with video images, as well as a Central Monitoring Software feature controlling multiple servers with a friendly Graphic User Interface makes the NV series a top surveillance choice.
The new Hybrid applications expand the standard DVR capabilities of the NV series into a Network Video Recorder solution by adding advanced, yet easy-to-use features. Functions include D1 (720 x 480) resolution supported, as well as PTZ preset point alarm support, SMS/MMS alarm support, and playback by search and bookmark.
The new application also allows the user to back-up video segments of less than one hour, includes relay control for both the server and remote access controlled by an updated user interface as well as a new compact interface mode.
