Taipei, Taiwan, February 22, 2006 -- AXIOMTEK, an Associate Member of the Intel Communications Alliance (ICA), a community of communications and embedded developers and solution providers, is proud to launch a network application board, the SBC86804. This board comes with a mainstream LGA775 package for Intel® Pentium® 4 and Celeron® D processors with a 533/800MHz front side bus (FSB) and integrated Intel® 915GV Express chipset and built-in PCI-express Fast/Gigabit Ethernet interfaces.

The network application board SBC86804 fulfills high performance system configuration demands in network applications, industrial server appliances, or other network attachment storage appliances with advanced storage features. Available with four Gigabit Ethernet ports thru an advanced PCI Express interface, the embedded board supports fail-over, load sharing and load balancing functions for critical network environments. System memory can support up to 4GB of DDR333/400 DIMM sockets with unbuffered non-ECC memory.
The SBC86804 built-in Intel® 915GV Express chipset supports Hyper-Threading Technology and integrates a VGA function. In order to provide the best network performance and best utilization, the SBC86804 has powerful storage interfaces, including IDE and S-ATA and is easily compatible with embedded Operating Systems and third-party application programs thru DOM (Disk on Module) or CompactFlash(TM). One PCI 32-bit/33MHz expansion slot and one Mini-PCI slot are available for expansion. The SBC86804 can operate in environments from 0° C (-32° F) to 60°C (140°F).

I/O features include one RS-232, one ATA-100, four SATA I channels, one FDD, one parallel, VGA pin-header, and 8 USB 2.0 ports. Additionally, the SBC86804 supports a dual ATX power connector design on both sides of the board; customers can integrate a system in smooth wiring by flexible power connector deployments accordingly. The SBC86804 also offers an optional powerful enclosure which features management functions, including BIOS redirection to console port and more. These extra features have been implemented so users can keep and manage their data easily.
