LED Christmas Lights help eliminate fire hazards.


November 8, 2005 - Available in white and multi-color sets, Icicle Shape Indoor/Outdoor LED Christmas Lights have look of incandescent lights but without hot bulbs. String of 35 lights draws 1.8 W, while string of 70 lights uses 3.5 W. Solid-state design renders LEDs impervious to shock, vibration, frequent switching, and environmental fluctuation. Operating for more than 100,000 hours, lighting can be used year round for window displays, decor ambiance mood lighting, and accent lighting.

TORRANCE, CA - September 5, 2005 - LEDtronics announces the release of it's Icicle Shape Indoor/Outdoor LED Christmas lights that have the look and appeal of traditional incandescent Christmas lights but without the hot bulbs and fire hazard to worry about. LED Christmas lights are always cool to the touch so theirs one less thing to worry about during the holidays or as part of your commercial lighting set.
Save energy, a string of 35 LED Icicle Shape Christmas lights only draw 1.8 watts Compared to 5-watt each incandescent Christmas light bulb, that's a savings of 146.5 watts. A string of 70 LED Christmas lights uses only 3.5 watts; a savings of 346.5 watts compared to 5-watt each incandescent Christmas light bulb.

The energy savings adds up:
35 LED Christmas lights only cost $0.31 in electricity a year based on the lights being on for 6 hours a night at $0.08 KWh rate. 35 incandescent Christmas lights cost $30.37 a year. 35 LED Christmas lights save $30.36 a year in electricity charges over incandescent lights.

70 LED Christmas lights only cost $0.61 in electricity a year based on the lights being on for 6 hours a night at $0.08 KWh rate. 70 incandescent Christmas lights cost $61.32 a year. 70 LED Christmas lights save $60.71 a year in electricity charges over incandescent lights.
