Winpak Announces New Vice President and CFO
Winnipeg, Manitoba, November 7, 2007 - Bruce J. Berry, President and Chief Executive
Officer of Winpak Ltd., is pleased to announce the appointment of Kenneth P.
Kuchma as Vice President and CFO of Winpak Ltd. effective January 1, 2008. Mr.
Kuchma, a Chartered Accountant, is a University of Manitoba, B.Comm. (Hons)
graduate with distinction, as well as a Gold Medalist. He has been employed at
Winpak since 1989, most recently as the Director of Finance and Administration at
Winpak's largest manufacturing location, its Winnipeg-based facility. In addition to
having a strong financial background, Mr. Kuchma has an excellent understanding
of the Company's products, markets and overall operations.
Murray G. Johnston, the Company's current Vice President and CFO, will be leaving
Winpak Ltd. on December 31, 2007 with plans to relocate his family from Winnipeg
to Vancouver Island. The Company thanks Mr. Johnston for his contribution to
Winpak's development.
Winpak Ltd. manufactures and distributes high-quality packaging materials and
related packaging machines. The Company's products are used primarily for the
protection of perishable foods, beverages and in health care applications.
