Virtium Signs Altec and More Electronics as Strategic Sales Channel Distribution Partners in Europe
Strengthened European presence gives embedded systems OEMs greater access to Virtium's industry-leading industrial storage and memory module solutions
RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, Calif. - Virtium, a leading provider of embedded SSD and industrial memory modules, today announced it has signed distribution agreements with two of Europe's top distributors, Altec ComputerSysteme GmbH (Altec) and More Electronics. Significantly expanding the company's strategic sales channel in the region, Altec has distribution sales responsibility for customers in the Central European countries of Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Eastern Europe. More Electronics services customers in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and the Baltic countries. The agreements establish these companies as authorized distributors of Virtium's complete line of industry-leading StorFly® and TuffDrive® SSDs and industrial memory modules in their respective regions. In addition, Altec will showcase Virtium's full line of products February 25-27 at Embedded World 2014 in Nuremberg, Germany in Hall 2, Altec Booth 2-4482.
