UTC Fire & Security Completes Sale of U.K. Manned Guarding Business

FARMINGTON, Conn., April 1, 2011 - The sale of UTC Fire & Security's Chubb Security Personnel manned guarding business in the U.K. to an affiliate of Securitas AB of Sweden has closed. The sale was first announced in January of this year. UTC Fire & Security is a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).
