Thomas Equipment Names Daniel Casey Regional Business Manager, Midwest USA, for Thomas Skid Steer Loaders

Centreville, New Brunswick - Gilbert Bedard, Vice President of Global Sales at Thomas Equipment Inc., a manufacturer and marketer of Thomas Skid Steer Loaders, announced that Daniel J. Casey has joined the company as Regional Business Manager, Midwest USA.

"Dan Casey joins Thomas with a wealth of experience meeting heavy equipment needs of cities, industry and agriculture and we are confident he will make a major contribution to the Thomas team," said Bedard.

Previously, Casey was Compact Equipment Specialist at Ditch Witch of Minnesota, marketing construction equipment, and was a Commercial Sales representative for Polfus Implement, selling utility tractors for municipalities, industry and farms.

Petter M. Etholm, President and Chief Executive Officer of both Thomas Equipment and its parent company, Osiris Corporation (OSRS), said, "We welcome Dan and wish him great success in his new position and look forward to working with him as we achieve our growth goals in the United States."

Ilan Danieli, Chief Operating Officer, added, "Dan's extensive experience meeting the heavy equipment needs of utility contractors and utility cooperatives and providers positions him very well to serve Thomas customers throughout the Midwest."

Casey said, "Thomas enjoys a 65-year tradition of providing excellent quality of product and customer service and I am proud to now represent the great Thomas line and help grow the company's business throughout the Midwestern United States."

Casey knows the demands placed on skid steer products first hand, having begun his experience on his family's farm where he was responsible for the heavy equipment used in crop production and processing. He utilized that base of knowledge when he founded DJC Commercial Services to provide ground maintenance services for businesses before his positions at Polfus and Ditch Witch. He began his career in heavy equipment in Minneapolis-St. Paul, where he provided grounds and maintenance products in the twin cities.

Dan received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota and lives with his wife and children in Prior Lake, Minnesota, where he is involved in community activities.
