New Videos Added to Standards Boost Business Gallery

Corporate Leaders Discuss the Strategic Value of Standardization As part of the growing Standards Boost Business (SBB) promotional campaign, two brand new videos have recently been added to the SBB website's video gallery page. The page showcases testimonial videos from corporate and industry leaders speaking about the financial and strategic benefits their companies and organizations have reaped as a result of their participation in standardization. The gallery includes videos featuring high-ranking executives at Hubbell Incorporated, ASTM International, Eaton Corporation, and the National Electronics Manufacturers Association (NEMA) and showcases new testimonials from: GP Russ Chaney, CEO, International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) Thomas Loughlin, executive director, ASME More interviews with business and industry leaders will be added as they become available. In addition, new multimedia content highlighting the importance of conformity assessment and standards and their potential to boost corporate performance is expected to be developed. Standards Boost Business is an outreach initiative to help U.S. businesses understand the power of standardization in driving business growth, spurring innovation, and advancing U.S. competitiveness. Coordinated by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) in partnership with 27 leading organizations from across the U.S. standardization community, this free online resource is designed to help corporate leaders understand the strategic and economic value of standards to business and to our overall national competitiveness. The SBB campaign has already gained significant ground in reaching corporate executives, government representatives, and consumers via editorials featured in business publications and an advertising campaign targeted at the C-suite. On behalf of the entire community, the SBB campaign will continue its efforts to get this critical message in front of decision-makers and the greater business community.
