Tate Andale is proud to have been certified to ISO 9001:2008 through NQA, effective in November of 2014. This significant milestone in our long history reflects the dedication to excellence in every facet of our operations from manufacturing to customer service. ISO 9001:2008 reflects not only the current quality of Tate Andale's products and operations, but a commitment to continuous improvement going forward. We are extremely proud of the Tate Andale team.
ISO 9001 is an International Quality Management System Standard that specifies requirements within which an organization demonstrates its ability to consistently provide product or service to meet customer and legal requirements, enhancing customer satisfaction and opening the way to continual improvement. The requirements are intended to be applicable to all organizations, regardless of type, size or product/service provided. Globally more than one million organizations have implemented ISO 9001 Management Systems (50,000 organizations in North America).
ISO 9001 was originally published in 1987 by the International Organization for Standardization, a worldwide federation of national standards bodies, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. The Organization was founded in 1946 to develop a common set of standards for manufacturing, trade and communications. Today more than 150 countries are members, each with a representative. The representative for the United States is the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). In addition to ISO 9001, more than 17,000 other ISO standards exist. ISO 9001:2008 is the current version of this standard.
NQA is a leading global independently accredited certification body (registrar), providing assessments (audits) of organizations to various Management System Standards since 1988.
