Southwest Impreglon becomes a "Whitford Recommended Coater"
August 2011, Houston, TX. Whitford, maker of the world's largest, most complete line of fluoropolymer coatings, has launched a "Whitford Recommended Coater" program for applicators who have proven their ability to apply Whitford coatings at consistently high levels of quality over time. Criteria to be a member of this program include having a solid quality-control program in place, experience in applying Whitford coatings and attendance at one of Whitford's customer training programs.
Among those companies recognized as a "Whitford Recommended Coater" is Southwest Impreglon. Based in Houston, TX, Southwest Impreglon has been applying coatings since 1975, and has been a Whitford customer since 1980. Their business is primarily in the oil and gas field, where they specialize in solving problems of friction, corrosion, galling and release.
The WRC plaque was presented by Craig Smith, technical sales representative. Says president George Butler "We take pride in what we do and we certainly appreciate the recognition by Whitford that this plaque represents."
