SL Power Electronics Appoints Karim Alhusseini as VP of Sales and Marketing
VENTURA, Calif. —Â SL Power Electronics, a division of SL Industries (NYSE/AMEX: SLI) and an industry leader in the design and manufacture of rugged, highly reliable power supplies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Karim Alhusseini as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Reporting to SL Power president, Tim Croal, Alhusseini will partner with the SL Power executive leadership team to achieve business goals in growth, new product development, marketing and customer satisfaction for its line of highly efficient power supplies for growing medical, test measurement and LED lighting markets.

Alhusseini joins SL Power Electronics after ten years with the Eaton Corporation (2005 – 2015), where he led global management roles with increasing responsibilities in Sales Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain Management for the Electrical and Industrial sectors.
Prior to Eaton, he spent seven years with Ernst & Young Management Consulting (1997 – 2005), where he focused on strategic planning, growth programs, and operational improvements for globally diversified manufacturers and high tech clients. Alhusseini is a multi-lingual executive, who lived and worked in over ten countries during his career with Eaton and Ernst & Young. Karim began his career in investment banking and information technology management (1993 – 1997).
Alhusseini holds a Degree in Computer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and an Executive Management program in Manufacturing Strategic Operations from Northwestern University.
