Shaw Stainless Expansion New Industrial Complex to Support Continued Growth
With the recent purchase of the Powder Springs plant, Shaw Stainless increases operational capacity by 50,000 square feet. With 3 additional buildings on 4 acres, this layout is ideal for the different diversified divisions of Shaw Stainless.
Building 100 will house the Atlanta Distribution division. This warehouse will stock pipe, valves, fittings, flanges and other stainless products. A substantial amount of inventory will still be stocked in the Albany, GA branch, and at partner warehouses strategically located all across the country. Â
Building 200 is a great fit for the CNC Processing division. This high-tech facility will stock flat products, as well as house the plate and sheet processing equipment and machine shop. The state-of-the-art machinery in this building will include the waterjet, laser, press brakes, plate rolls, CNC processing equipment, robotics, and automation.
Building 300 is perfect for the Fabrication Division with 3 oversize drive-in doors and 15-ton combined capacity over-head cranes. The majority of manufacturing, welding, and assembly will take place in this building.
