Severn Trent Management Services Opens New Office in Fort Myers, Florida
FORT WASHINGTON, Pa. - January 17, 2007 - Severn Trent Services has announced the opening of a new office in Fort Myers, Fla. The office will provide management services for community development districts and homeowners associations throughout southwest Florida. Calvin Teague, district manager, will oversee the daily operations of the office.
Teague has more than 25 years experience in addressing complex urban issues including water and wastewater needs. During his career as a city manager, he has been responsible for developing legislative policy, conflict resolution and negotiating environmental compliance. In addition, he has developed and managed budgets as well as identified economic development funding solutions.
Teague used his city manager experience with economic development for residential and commercial properties while serving as an independent consultant supporting the cities of Marshfield, Wis. and Farmington and Monroe, Mich.
In his most recent position, Teague served as the Midwest senior area manager for Severn Trent's Operating Services group, based in South Bend, Ind. In this role over the last five years, he was responsible for overseeing more than 40 public works water and wastewater project sites in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Tennessee and Illinois.
Severn Trent is the largest provider of community development district management and operations services in the state of Florida. Regional offices are located in St. Augustine, Celebration, Tampa Bay, Sarasota and Coral Springs. "The opening of the Fort Myers office greatly increases our ability to provide on-site management services in the southwest region of the state," stated Teague.
