SAE International Journal Editors to Receive Honors at SAE World Congress



WARRENDALE, Pa., -- Prakash T. Sathe, PhD, Associate Editor of the SAE International Journal of Materials and Manufacturing; and Nadir Yilmaz, PhD, Editor-in-Chief of the SAE International Journal of Fuels and Lubricants, each will receive prestigious honors at the 2011 SAE World Congress, April 12-14 in Detroit.

Dr. Sathe, President, Global Management Consultants, LLC, will receive an SAE Fellow Grade of Membership. The highest grade of SAE membership, this recognizes and honors long-term members who have made a significant impact on society's mobility technology through leadership, research, and innovation. Election to Fellow is an exceptional professional distinction bestowed on only about 20 recipients each year.

Dr. Yilmaz, Assistant Professor Department of Mechanical Engineering, New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, has been selected as a 2011 recipient of the Ralph R. Teetor Educational Award. Established in 1963, the Teetor award recognizes and honors those younger educators who are successfully preparing future engineers for meeting the challenges of contemporary society.
