Rockwell Automation Awarded Best New Product Honor from National Society of Professional Engineers

Allen-Bradley E3 Solid-State Overload Relay helps manufacturing companies improve productivity and reduce costs

MILWAUKEE, Aug. 31, 2006 - Rockwell Automation Inc. (NYSE: ROK) will receive the National Society of Professional Engineers New Product Award for its Allen Bradley E3 Solid-State Overload Relay today. Wisconsin Secretary of Commerce Mary Burke will present the award, accompanied by members of the Wisconsin Society of Professional Engineers board of directors.

Last April, the Allen-Bradley E3 Solid-State Overload Relay received the Governor's New Product Award, Best in State, in the Mega Employment Category, making it eligible to compete for this year's National Society of Professional Engineers Award. It was selected because of the advanced engineering from Rockwell Automation engineers who designed it to be an easy-to-install overload relay, as well as a networked diagnostic device.

The Allen-Bradley E3 Solid-State Overload Relay allows manufacturers to cost-effectively manage and monitor industrial motor performance, as well as prevent and minimize downtime - all in a compact package. The Allen-Bradley E3 Solid-State Overload Relay offers protection functions for thermal overload, ground fault, current imbalance and phase loss. Its small footprint optimizes panel space, its DIN-rail mountable design reduces installation time, and its functionality simplifies troubleshooting. It is available in two configurations to help with local and international standards for motor protection applications anywhere in the world.
