Process Expo 2011 Hits Key Exhibit Sales Milestone

McLean, VA - The Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) announced today that thanks to continuing strong sales, the show floor for PROCESS EXPO 2011 has now reached 175,000 net square feet after expanding the show floor. Taking place in the South Hall of McCormick Place from November 1- 4, 2011 in Chicago, PROCESS EXPO 2011 continues to attract key equipment manufacturers for the food and beverage industry.

"Attendees at the show next fall won't believe their eyes," said Scott Scriven, Chairman of the Food Processing Suppliers Association and President of Weber Inc. "The PROCESS EXPO floor brings together the greatest collection of bellwether suppliers from all sectors of the food and beverage industry, many of which won't be exhibiting anywhere else this year. These exhibitors have made a major commitment to show the latest innovations and technology to the thousands of food processors who will be in attendance. With PROCESS EXPO moving to a biennial show cycle, our exhibitors know that now is the time to really make an impression with customers."

"The show continues to grow and grow. This milestone is particularly important as it puts us on pace to be twice as large as last year's show," said David Seckman, President & CEO of FPSA. "With over eight months left to sell space, we still have time to continue adding to the breadth and depth of PROCESS EXPO. With each new exhibitor, we are expanding the variety of equipment and other products on display across all segments of the food industry. In addition, we have other groups participating in this year's show such as the North American Meat Processors Association (NAMP) who will be involved in the educational program and holding cooking demonstrations on the show floor. Thanks to our committed exhibitors and partners such as NAMP, we are confident that PROCESS EXPO will be this year's largest source of manufacturing solutions for the global food and beverage industry."
