Pioneer Engineering Announces Public Training Course for Vibration Analysis in Miami, FL

Press release date: March 31, 2014

Pioneer Engineering, one of the leading and premier providers of reliability engineering and vibration analysis services and training, will be presenting at Noria’s 15th Annual Reliable Plant Conference in San Antonio, Texas.

Dave Tiffany, a reliability specialist for Pioneer Engineering, will be presenting a case study on gearbox condition monitoring and how the creation and implementation of a predictive maintenance program can result in an increase in both equipment reliability and cost savings.

“We are very proud of Dave for representing Pioneer Engineering and are humbled to have been chosen as a presenter at Noria’s Reliable Plant conference,” said Jessica Dieken, director of marketing and sales for Pioneer Engineering. “Being able to present at such an esteemed event and having the opportunity to discuss best practices and share ideas with industry peers is something we are excited to be a part of. At Pioneer Engineering, sharing our expertise and experiences in an educational environment is one of our core values. Dave is an excellent example of Pioneer living our values.”

During the presentation, attendees will learn how to start their own basic oil analysis program, learn the importance of proper lubrication, discuss different maintenance strategies and will encourage participants to be champions for the creation and development of their own predictive and proactive maintenance programs in their facilities.

With over two decades of experience working in wastewater treatment and reclamation, Dave Tiffany is one of Pioneer Engineering’s biggest advocates for proper reliability centered maintenance practices to extend and maintain the life of industrial rotating equipment. Dave is an ISO Category III certified vibration analyst and holds Machinery Lubrication Technician II and Machinery Lubrication Analyst III certifications. As Pioneer Engineering’s subject matter expert for oil analysis and lubrication, Mr. Tiffany is spearheading the tribology division of Pioneer Engineering and is the primary instructor for the firm’s newest course entitled, “Introduction to Machine Lubrication and Oil Analysis”.

Noria’s 15th Annual Reliable Plant conference and exhibition will be held April 22-24, 2014 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas.
