Peter Simon and Steven Cagnetta Join Board
Barrett welcomes Mr. Simon and Mr. Cagnetta to Barrett's Board of Directors. Their skills and experience will help shape Barrett each quarter as it grows into the future.
Peter Simon
Mr. Simon is President of Simon Management Group (SMG), with offices in Boston and Austin. Before founding SMG in 1989, Peter worked five years as a consultant and manager at Bain & Company in Boston and London and six years as a senior manager in technology firms.
At Lotus Development Corporation, Peter served as General Manager of Business Applications during the Lotus 1-2-3 era; and at Banyan Systems, he was Vice President of Marketing. Peter earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brown University and an MBA from Stanford University.
While we have commissioned SMG in the past to assess new product markets, we are excited to have his seasoned expertise to provide continuing guidance at the Board level.
Steven Cagnetta, Esq.
Steven is a cofounder of Company Counsel an innovative law firm that specializes in supporting growing technology companies.
Mr. Cagnetta practiced law at Hutchins, Wheeler & Dittmar in Boston and at O'Connor, Broude and Aronson in Waltham, Massachusetts. Before entering private practice, Steven was a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps, where he served as a prosecutor and staff counsel to Commander, Submarine Group Two, in Groton, Connecticut.
He received his Juris Doctor, from Boston University and his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude from Muhlenberg College.
Steve has contributed to Barrett for several years, and we are fortunate to have him join the Board.
