Product Development and Management Association Names Charles H. Noble, PhD as Chair



CHICAGO, IL -- The Product Development and Management Association (PDMA) is pleased to announce Charles H. Noble, PhD, Proffitt's Professor of Marketing and Marketing PHD Program Director at The University of Tennessee, as Chair, effective, January, 1 2015. Noble previously served as Vice Chair of the PDMA Board and VP of Academic Affairs.



As Chair, Noble will work closely with the Board of Directors to oversee PDMA's strategic direction through its mission to serve as the premier global advocate for product development and management professionals, and support the practice of global innovation. "I am excited and honored to take on the role of Chair of the PDMA," said Noble. "There are so many areas of excellence in this organization, including the Journal of Product Innovation Management, the Outstanding Corporate Innovator award, NPDP Certification and the annual Research Forum and Product Innovation Management Conference, among others. I look forward to working with our outstanding leadership team to sharpen the impact of these offerings and to find new ways to add value for our members and the field of product development and innovation. 2015 will be an important year for the PDMA as we move towards a bright future!"



PDMA has also announced the appointment of Peter Bradford, Program Manager for the Development Enterprise Transformation Initiative at IBM as Vice-Chair whose term also began January 1, 2015. Brad White, a Partner at Prophet will continue as PDMA's Secretary/Treasurer in 2015.



Three new members to the 2015 Board of Directors were also announced:

Suzanne Thompson, Clorox Services Company
