Parker Hannifin Joins Get Nitrogen Institute to Increase Fuel Efficiency

CLEVELAND, Oct. 26 - In an effort to increase fuel efficiency through promoting nitrogen tire inflation, Parker Hannifin Corporation has joined the Get Nitrogen Institute.

The mission of the Denver-based non-profit group, Get Nitrogen Institute, is to provide information to automotive consumers and providers about the benefits of using nitrogen to inflate tires. Filling tires with nitrogen increases fuel efficiency because it allows tires to maintain proper air pressure longer.
