Noxilizer, Inc. Announces Expansion into Europe and Hiring of Industry Veteran, Stephen Morley
Press release date: Jan 17, 2014
Baltimore, MD -- Noxilizer, Inc., the company advancing a room temperature, NO2-based sterilization process for life science manufacturers, announced the appointment of Mr. Stephen Morley as Vice President, European Sales and Service, Noxilizer Limited, the newly established entity for Noxilizer’s European sales and service operations. Noxilizer’s entrance into Europe, the next step in their global expansion strategy, is intended to accelerate the global acceptance of nitrogen dioxide sterilization as a powerful, efficient, and cost-saving alternative to traditional sterilization methods.
This announcement follows Noxilizer’s spring 2013 asset acquisition of SAIAN Corporation and the creation of Noxilizer Japan KK, establishing Noxilizer as a global player in the life science sterilization market.
“Well regarded in the industry, Steve has a demonstrated track record of building strategic partnerships and developing business opportunities that have resulted in strong revenue growth,” notes Lawrence Bruder, Noxilizer CEO. “We are confident his leadership will be an asset as we establish our European presence and grow the sterilization business.”
Steve joins Noxilizer with 30 years of successful operational and strategic business development experience. Mr. Morley led a distinguished career with Getinge Group, where he held positions of progressive leadership, most recently serving as Portfolio Manager with Getinge Infection Control AB. Among his notable achievements, he established operations for Getinge in Japan, led the integration of acquired companies, and helped establish centralized marketing and business development activities for the organization. Mr. Morley holds an honours degree in Physics and Chemistry from Nottingham University.
"This is an exciting opportunity. I am pleased to join an organization whose leadership is committed to delivering a new sterilization solution to customers,” says Morley. “I also look forward to introducing the European market to the exceptional technological advantages of NO2 sterilization.”
NO2 sterilization eliminates preconditioning, maintains material properties in heat-sensitive products and doesn’t require long aeration. NO2 sterilization is gaining recognition as an ideal sterilization alternative for pressure and temperature sensitive products. In addition to the technological advantages of NO2, customers are recognizing the potential manufacturing efficiencies and resulting cost savings.
Mr. Morley will conduct business from the UK-based, Noxilizer Limited office. Noxilizer’s headquarters will remain in Baltimore, MD.
