NBB to hold biodiesel forum at SAE World Congress.

At SAE 2010 World Congress, to be held April 13-15 in Detroit, MI, National Biodiesel Board will hold forum on railroad engine combustion with biodiesel on April 14. Experts that have experience with biodiesel use in railroads or are working on ongoing biodiesel railroad projects can forward information to Dr. Richard Nelson, who will summarize data for forum presentation. Forum is expected to list technical needs to secure approvals for biodiesel blends in railroad applications.

Biodiesel Forum at SAE World Congress



The SAE 2010 World Congress will be meeting April 13-15 in Detroit, Michigan. In the past several weeks NBB has worked with SAE to secure a special forum on railroad engine combustion with biodiesel from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 14. If you are already attending the World Congress, then this event will be free to attend. If not, you may purchase a one day pass for $99 from this site: http://www.sae.org/congress/.

If you have field experience with biodiesel use in railroads or an ongoing biodiesel railroad project, please forward the information to Dr. Richard Nelson (rnelson@ksu.edu) so that he can summarize the data for his presentation at the Forum.
