National Adhesives Flyer Features Adhesives for Industrial Air Filters

BRIDGEWATER, NJ, November 6, 2007 - National Adhesives has published a flyer with detailed information about adhesives for manufacturing industrial air filters.

The flyer covers FILTER-LOK® hot melt adhesives and two-part polyurethane systems for air filters used in automotive engines, heavy duty equipment, dust collectors and vacuum cleaners. According to the publication, National's adhesives bond to special media or low-surface-energy substrates, resist extreme temperature conditions and remain flexible for radial designs.

Designed to meet the demands of industrial filtration, National's FILTER-LOK polyurethanes perform in applications such as cartridge filters used in dust collection systems or gas turbines. In addition, National's FILTER-LOK hot melts are formulated to improve equipment processing and produce superior quality filters and to withstand the requirements of pleated filters in vacuum cleaners or engines exposed to higher temperatures for extended periods.

The flyer includes a series of charts detailing Hot Melt Adhesives for Air Filter Assembly and Two-Part Polyurethane Systems for Air Filter Assembly.
