NAM's Newhouse Named Nation's Top Association Lobbyist
Respected and Influential Voice Helps Manufacturers Compete to Win
Washington, D.C. – National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) Senior Vice President of Policy and Government Relations Aric Newhouse was named CEO Update’s Association Lobbyist of the Year. Chosen by a panel of association experts, Newhouse was honored by peers for his work representing manufacturers before Congress and the administration and by successfully advocating and securing passage of Export-Import (Ex-Im) Bank reauthorization, Trade Promotion Authority (TPA), a long-term highway bill, various regulatory reform efforts, a repeal of the ban on crude oil exports and a permanent research and development (R&D) tax credit.
